Barry Stebbing
Barry Stebbing has been an artist his entire life. He attended the Maryland Institute of Art as a painting major and received his degree in art education from Salisbury University. Graduate studies were done in Cortona, Italy with the University of Georgia, along with portrait painting in Montreal. Mr. Stebbing spent many years teaching art in the public school system, along with teaching adult education and painting workshops. In 1990-1991, he and his wife set as he painted his way across the back roads of America completing a series of three oil paintings in each state, capturing some of our country's most splendid scenery. It was during this time that Barry began to realize God's purpose for his talents and, after much conviction from the Holy Spirit, he focused his abilitys for God's Glory. A short while later his first book on drawing was written and How Great Thou ART Publications was born. Since then, 14 more texts have been written for all ages combining journaling, drawing, & painting along with art appreciation. Throughout these years, Mr. Stebbing & his wife have also been conducting 3-day art classes throughout the U.S. and Canada and estimate that they have personally instructed more than 60,000 students. To God Be All The Glory!
