Dear
Mr. & Mrs. Stebbing -
I wanted to thank you for the most enjoyable art workshop ! The
experience of attending your class in Gastonia, NC is one that
will stay with us for a lifetime. Not only was it fun for my
three children, but they learned so much ! The Sunday after the
workshops my 5 year old brought home his Sunday school paper.
Imagine my surprise when I noticed the faces were not *x* out as
the instructions directed - but they were divided by two
perpendicular lines - one horizontally, at eye level, and one
vertically, through the center of the face. He was marking it as
you instructed for proper proportions On the reverse of his
paper was another face drawing marked appropriately, and a clown
similar to the one he learned to draw in your class. To say the
least I was proud that he had remembered those details ! I
congratulate you for including the younger children - it is
obvious they soak up information as sponges !
I must also complement you on your attention to the children -
it was amazing to watch two people manage a room of 90 children,
complementing them on their successes and encouraging them to do
better. Most appreciated is the fact that you don't serve false
praises. I don't think any child there felt ignored or just part
of a crowd. This is a double blessing as you and your wife are
able to impart a love of art, and the gift of encouragement to
the children.
Many blessings to you both as you continue to travel the
countryside with How Great Thou Art. I am sure we will be
hearing great things from you for many years to come
Blessings, Susan

My
12 year old son, Stuart Miller, attended your workshop this week
in Tucker, GA. He
was so inspired and I saw such an attitude change in both
his drawing and his general disposition. For a kid who never
sits still, I was astounded to see him sit and draw for
over
2 hours on Saturday evening. I know this will be a lifelong
hobby and perhaps even a career for him and I'm so happy to see
God use someone like you to key him into the gift and desire
that was already there. You gave him the tools to kick start the
discipline he needed.
I can't really say how grateful I am for what you did. In home schooling
it has often been hard to find simple, quality activities that
were worth the effort and that yield results. This class had a
profound effect immediately on my dear son, who I love
intensely, but sometimes have difficulty connecting with. This
was the boost he needed at this point in time and I don't
believe that was a coincidence. Thanks for being there first of
all and being humble enough
to share your gift with the children. Second, thanks for being
available to be used by God in
a way that no one else could reach right now. Third, thanks for
being affordable. I was pleased to buy some materials after the
workshop and realized how affordable you made them for all.
Again, just thanks from a grateful mom!

Sincerely,
Denise Miller

My
son and I attended your workshop at the First Assembly of God in
Plover, Wisconsin. I was apprehensive about signing my son
Ethan, who is 6 1/2 years old, up for the class. He seemed to
enjoy drawing, coloring and such and I thought maybe he would
enjoy it. Ethan absolutely loved it! All the way home each day,
he talked about what he was going to draw, and after we got home
he would draw, draw, and draw. I purchased "I Can Do All
Things" and Ethan couldn't wait to get started. This is our
official first year of homeschooling with a first- grade
curriculum and I wanted to keep curriculum costs down. After
sitting in your class and also browsing in all your art
curriculums, I knew I couldn't go wrong. I read thru it and I
was amazed. Thank you for writing a program that is easy to
follow and understand and that is interesting too. I had taken a
lot of art classes in high school and had hoped to go to college
and study art history. Even though my studies did not lead me to
art history, I learned more in your workshop than I ever did in
my high school art classes. I am grateful to you both that not
only will Ethan be learning the fundamentals of art, but also
art history. Thank you for developing your program and also your
willingness to share and teach it to others.

Sincerely,
Mrs. Jodi Erdmann and Ethan
