- Fri, February 25th 2011I used this with my 3 year old son while the older ones worked on HGTA. We practiced lessons using scratch paper, then a final drawing would go into his blank spiral notebook. This was age appropriate for my son to age 4.5. I learned cute doodling techniques, too. Great book. I am starting my 2.5 year old daughter on it now because she has great control of a pencil.
